Friday, February 27, 2026 2:26PM CST The spring projected price used for crop insurance revenue policies for the 2026-27 corn crop on Friday ended February at $4.62 a bushel. The soybean projected price came in at $11.09, up 55 cents from last year's price. Projected prices for spring wheat are $6.19 a bushel, which is down 36 cents from last year.

May corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, May soybeans are up 4 cents, May KC wheat is up 7 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 5 3/4 cents, and MIAX May Minneapolis wheat is up 0.0050 cents.
Cattle futures did not find good news Thursday. Export sales were not something to get excited about and light cash cattle sales took place at lower prices than last week. Hog futures were mixed with nearby contracts lower and deferred contracts at new highs.
